Nestled in Salem, Oregon, Adelman Peony Gardens is a family-owned Peony garden, established in 1995. Our gardens have flourished, sprawling over 30 acres of perfectly-groomed land, becoming a sanctuary for peony lovers and a beacon for gardeners, floral designers, and enthusiasts from around the globe. Adelman’s offers an in-person experience during our open season between end of April and mid-June every year, and the opportunity to buy our roots year-round right here on the website.
Beyond seasonal gardens, Adelman’s offers a variety of peony-related products and services. From fresh-cut blooms that bring beauty to your home, to peony bushes ready for planting, each product you buy is cultivated by our team of Peony experts.
Our family has been cultivating Peonies since 1993, when Carol planted her first Peony plants in her vegetable garden. Just two years later, we opened our gardens to the public, offering spacious grass pathways and blocks of breathtaking color between. Carol continued cultivating Peonies that would later win national awards, putting our gardens on the map for Peony enthusiasts.
Replacing our hazelnut and apple orchards, gradually with our new varieties of Peony plants, Adelman Peony Gardens grew out of genuine love for flowers. Now, we grow over 500 named varieties to offer to our community of passionate gardeners. Our multi-generational farm is run by our family and continues to expand every year. Remembering Bob
In loving memory of Bob Adelman, our famous cat that passed last year. Bob showed up locked in our building as a feral stray years ago, he overtime became a part of the Adelman family. He was definately a character, if you visited us in person you may have gotten a chance to meet him. He touched us greatly as well as some of our regular customers. We miss him greatly.
