(Niva/Snelson, 1999) Red, japanese, midseason, slightly fragrant, 30" tall, lactiflora. Glossy and lustrous foliage. Center petaloids edged with gold/white.

(Olson, 1959) White, double, fragrant, late, 32" tall, lactiflora. Pure white dome-shaped, very fragrant flower with strong stems. Stands up well in wet weather. APS Gold Medal winner 2011.

(Klehm, 1970) Cameo-pink, bomb-type double, very fragrant, midseason, 32" tall, lactiflora. Striking pastel pink with a narrow band of ivory petals at the base. Charming! APS Gold Medal Award 2005. Award of Landscape Merit 2010.

(Cousins, 1972) Salmon-pink, single to semi-double, lightly fragrant, early midseason, 30" tall, hybrid. A sturdy plant holds lovely salmon pink flowers with yellow stamens.

(Saunders, 1955) White, single, very early, 30" tall, quadruple hybrid. This white flower glows with raspberry flares surrounding yellow stamens. One of the earliest to bloom. Very unusual and fit for royalty!

(Crousse, 1886) White, double, lightly fragrant, midseason, 35" tall, lactiflora. A full flower with red flecks on petal edges. Good petal substance. Stands up nicely.

(Auten, 1943) Red, bomb-type double, early-midseason, very fragrant, 36" tall, lactiflora. Large guard petals frame the bomb center. Opens well on stiff stems. Good in hot climates.

(Saunders/Reath/Rogers, 1991) Pale pink to white, semi-double, early, 32" tall, fragrant, hybrid, fertile tetraploid. A frilly pale pink bloom that glows. Strong stems and large, glossy foliage.

(Hollingsworth, 1984) ITOH Yellow, single, midseason, 22" tall, intersectional/Itoh. This yellow intersectional is quite short and a good subject for positioning as a prostrate shrub flowing over rocks.

(Hoogendorn, 1949) Pink, Japanese, very fragrant, midseason, 32" tall, lactiflora. Pink outer petals surround a center of creamy staminodes. Ours frequently has a fountain of deep rose petals bursting from center!

(Klehm, 1963) Creamy white, double, lightly fragrant, midseason, 34" tall, lactiflora. Very large, luscious cream-white flower. Wonderful cut flower! APS Gold Medal Award 1981.

(Krekler,1965) White, japanese, midseason, 34" tall, lactiflora. An all white flower with abundant thin petaloids filling the center. Will stand up nicely in spring rain.

(Mains, 1956) Extremely dark red, semi-double, lightly fragrant, early, 30" tall, hybrid. Very dark chocolate-red petals are sprinkled with golden stamens. Striking maroon fall foliage! Award of Landscape Merit 2009. APS Gold Medal 2010.
