2011 PACIFIC NORTHWEST PEONY SOCIETY ANNUAL MEETING

The Saturday meeting will begin at 8 a.m. with Dana Tretheway, American Peony Society President and Exhibition Chairman, being our featured speaker. Dana will being explaining the exhibition classes and procedures for the upcoming American Peony Society flower competition. It will be the first time in the society’s 109 years that the convention and flower competition will be held on the west coast. Adelman Peony Gardens and Brooks Gardens will tell how to prepare blooms for entry as we are hoping for a record number of entries in the national show. There will be a peony planting demonstration. The day will conclude with a peony auction. The proceeds from the auction will fund the organizations activities and mailings.
$20 pre-registration includes morning meeting, snacks and lunch. Registration at the door will be $25. 2011 dues are $10 per household.

A no-host dinner will be held in the Garlic Onion Restaurant at the same location on Friday evening, March 4th at 6:30 p.m. as a social time. For further information contact Marian Meyer at
