(Smith, 1971)
Ruby red, double, fragrant, midseason, 34" tall, lactiflora cultivar. Shining red flowers that are nicely held on plant. One of the few red peonies with fragrance.

Dark, reddish-brown, Japanese, midseason, 28" tall, hybrid. The deep, near chocolate petal color is set off by yellow anthers and red carpals. The flower type can range to double. A hard to find variety.

Magenta, Japanese, lightly fragrant, midseason, 36" tall, lactiflora cultivar. Magenta guard petals surround a multicolored center. Very striking! Award of Landscape Merit 2009.

Red, bomb-type double, lightly fragrant, midseason, 36" tall, hybrid. A very large, globular flower that I consider red-orange. Very visible in the garden. Needs staking due to the heavy flower.

Coral, semi-double, early-midseason, 40" tall, hybrid. Very vigorous, large cup-shaped flowers. Exotic deep coral that fades to a softer color on opening. May need staking. APS Gold Medal Award 1986.

Pink, double, fragrant, midseason, 36" tall, lactiflora cultivar. A deep pink double with a collar of smaller ivory petals at the base. A very old, tried and true variety with a bonus of fragrance!

White, double, very fragrant, late, 28" tall, lactiflora cultivar. Large, perfectly formed rose-type flowers with a texture like velvet. Worth waiting for in the late bloom season! APS Gold Medal Award 1943.
